lady ponce

Adèle Ruffine Ngono, dite Lady Ponce, née en 1983 en région du Centre du Cameroun est une chanteuse et parolière camerounaise. Elle se fait connaître du public en 2004 par son titre Le Ventre et le Bas-ventre. Depuis elle est porteuse de plusieurs distinctions nationales et musicales qui témoignent de sa place parmi les artistes féminins camerounais.
Elle est née dans l'ethnie Ewondo du Cameroun. Initialement sa mère, cantatrice et animatrice de réseaux d'association villageoises, chante dans les fêtes et conte pratiquement tous les soirs. Elle initie très tôt sa fille à la musique. Celle-ci la remplace à l'âge de 10 ans dans une cérémonie officielle. Puis elle rejoint une institution catholique afin de devenir religieuse. La mort tragique de cette mère en 1998, alors qu'elle n'a que 16 ans, lui fait changer d'orientation. Ainsi elle quitte la campagne pour la ville de Yaoundé où elle s'inscrit dans la chorale de la paroisse de son quartier (Essos)1,2.
Dans ses débuts, elle intègre un groupe d'artistes congolais, avec qui elle effectue des animations dans plusieurs cabarets de la capitale camerounaise, notamment Le Camp Sonel, La Cascade. Son style s'élargit avec l'intégration de plusieurs rythmes en vogue au Cameroun (bikutsi, makossa, ndombolo, salsa). Elle fréquente les chanteuses et musiciennes camerounaises telles qu'Anne-Marie Nzié et Sally Nyolo. Elle rejoint ensuite le groupe « Akoak » avec lequel elle enregistre son tout premier album1.
Puis elle interprète les musiques de bikutsi des artistes camerounais à succès. Le rythme de cette musique sert de support à la danse du peuple de la région du Centre du Cameroun. Son inspiration lui vient des contes et des fables entendus dans son enfance au village. Elle devient l'une des représentantes attitrées de cette musique3,4. Son titre Le ventre et le bas-ventre est diffusé sans relâche par les médias à sa sortie et est repris par les bars, lieux de vie où s'exprime le goût des Camerounais5. Son nom est retrouvé dans quelques romans6.
À ses capacités vocales, elle adjoint des paroles puis un style scénique. Ces attitudes et ses tenues sont quelquefois jugées provocantes, et lui sont souvent reprochées3,7.
Son nom s'exploite au travers les établissements NARN 1 dont elle est la dirigeante. Ils comprennent un cabaret (Ponce Attitude), une ligne de prêt-à-porter, un institut de beauté (Ponce Original Fashion) et une maison de production8.
Lady Ponce est mère de trois enfants9. La rumeur de sa mort à la suite d'un accouchement a circulé en 2011
En 2007, à la suite de l'enregistrement de l'album Le ventre, elle est élue « meilleure voix et révélation féminine de la scène camerounaise »11,4.
Lors de la cérémonie des Canal 2'or organisée par une télévision nationale camerounaise, le titre de « meilleure artiste féminin de l'année 2008 » lui est décerné, tandis que sa chanson Trahison reçoit le prix de la « chanson de l'année »12,13.
Le , à l'occasion de la fête nationale, elle est élevée chevalier dans l’ordre de la Valeur (premier des ordres nationaux camerounais)8.

Petit-Pays (born Adolphe Claude Moundi in Douala, Cameroon in 1967[1]) is a Cameroonian musician. It includes artists like Jojo Moussio Samy Diko, Kaissa Pakito, Samantha Fok, Guy Manu, Njohreur, Xavier Lagaf.Mathematik,Sony 007 and Mony Eka and lots of other successful Makossa musicians. It is rumored that he gave the name Sans Visa to his band because he was deported from France for not having a visa.
He is the self crowned king of Makossa. In one of his songs, "Le Jour de ma Mort" (The Day I Die) from the album Class FM and other songs, he compares himself to Fela Kuti of Nigeria, Alpha Blondy of Côte d'Ivoire, Salif Keita of Mali and Youssou N'dour of Senegal. He always gives credit to legends like Francis Bebey, Eboa Lotin and Manu Dibango. He makes music with Pro Tools
He is known for his sometimes offensive dressing, controversial album covers and lyrics. He caused a stir in the mid-1990s ('94?) when he posed naked for his album cover King of Makossa (Love Class FM).
In 2015, he launched his reality Tv series titled 'Ma vie de superstar' where he lets his fans into his superstar lifestyle.

charlotte dipanda

 CHARLOTTE DIPANDA, born 18 July 1985 in Yaoundé, is a musician-artist, Cameroonian singer and songwriter who also has qualities of guitarist interpreter. It is part of the figures mark the Cameroonian music nationally and internationally, with three albums to his credit with all rich titles melodies, rhythms and messages.born in a family of artists where vocals and instruments have no secret for anyone. She grew up with her grandmother who raised her and learned everything after the departure of his birth mother to the United States.
Charlotte spent her childhood and youth largely in Yaoundé where she was born, Douala where her and her grandmother lived in western Cameroon, with one of her uncles.
Today she is one of the divas of the Cameroonian music scene and intends to go further in her  career to give more and more to her  fans and contribute to the enhancement of the musical culture of her country.

Serge Mpollo a.k.a.  Sergeo Polo was born in Deido (Douala) on November 14 1970. He was raised by his mother and his maternal grandparents. He started singing at school concerts when he was in college. In the twelfth grade he decided te become a full time singer and stopped his studies. He performed several years in night clubs where he accompanied some well known big names such as Eboa Lotin, Salle John, Ben Decca and many others.
